Gonatodes seigliei Donoso-Barros, 1966 View in CoL .

( Fig. 2 View FIGURE 2. A D)

Specimens. MZUC 12038 (holotype), 8 June 1964, Puertas del Guarapiche in the Bosque de Miraflores that borders the river Guarapiche in the limits of Sucre and Monagas states. MZUC 8837 (allotype), MZUC 40154 (adult male, morpho fusca sensu RDB in catalogue), 11287 (morpho fusca), 11056 (adult female), 12039 (subadult female, paratopotype); 12040-41 (juvs, paratopotypes).

Remarks. As for Gonatodes ceciliae , G. seigliei was described in detail and we do not consider a redescription necessary. But specimen numbers that appeared in the original publication ( Donoso-Barros 1966) have changed. Holotype 646081 from the original description is now MZUC 12038, while the allotype in the original publication was 648082 and now it corresponds to MZUC 8837. Donoso-Barros (1966) mentions in the variation section more specimens but none were considered paratypes. There is a series of specimens in the collection from the same type locality: MZUC 12039 (subadult female) and two juveniles with same data, 12040-41. Other referred specimens are MZUC 40154 (adult male) and MZUC 11287 (adul male without skull).
