The next specimens are determined as Glaphyrosoma sp. in Gorochov & Cadena-Castañeda 2016: four females labeled “ San Marcos, Camino Fraternidad a Bojonal , latitude 14.9459, longitude 91.8806, 1600 m, 22.V.2012, J. Monzón, F. Camposeco ” ( CAUD) .
Comments. This is the first published country record for Glaphyrosoma in Guatemala, in its original description it was cited from the Mexican state of Chiapas which is close to the Guatemalan border, in the Lacandon Jungle, near the village of Lacanja-Chansayab. In the revision of the genus Glaphyrosoma ( Gorochov & Cadena-Castañeda, 2016) , there were four females reported that were not associated with any species, due to the lack of males to clarify their identity, nevertheless, it was proposed that they could be the females of G. beretka . With recently collected and revised males and females, it was confirmed that those females are G. beretka , ratifying the presence of the species in Guatemala.
