Mericarps were 2.0–2.5× 1.2–1.8 mm and brown, the mericarps showed an acute projection at the base of the mericarp (prong in the terminology of Yeo, 1984). The surface of mericarp is smooth and reticulate, covered by densely scattered long and short non-glandular hairs.
