Now. Garrulus glandarius atricapillus Geoffroy Saint-Hilaire, 1832 View in CoL . See Hartert (1921: 2031) and Steinheimer (2009: 13).

Type series. Same as for Corvus stridens Hemprich & Ehrenberg, 1829 (see Steinheimer 2009: 13).

Type locality. Same as for Corvus stridens Hemprich & Ehrenberg, 1829 .

Remarks. Corvus iliceti listed by Lichtenstein (1825) is an unpublished manuscript name, and Corvus iliceti of Boie (1833: col. 882) is a nomen nudum. Gloger (1833: 143) provided a description for iliceti and he is thus its author (see also Hartert 1921: 2031, Steinheimer 2009: 13).
