Description. Color pattern of anterior dorsum and face as in Figs. 1–8 View FIGURES 1–4 View FIGURES 5–8 . Male pronotum with two black markings ( Figs. 1, 2 View FIGURES 1–4 ); female pronotum without obvious black markings ( Figs. 5, 6 View FIGURES 5–8 ). Male forewing with numerous irregular black markings ( Figs. 1, 2 View FIGURES 1–4 ); female forewing with two black spots ( Figs. 5, 6 View FIGURES 5–8 ). Male legs yellowish with dark brown spots ( Fig. 2 View FIGURES 1–4 ); female legs yellowish without dark brown spots ( Fig. 6 View FIGURES 5–8 ).
External features as in generic description.
Male genitalia. Male pygofer side slightly longer than high, with stout setae, poster margin with short, toothlike process ( Fig. 9 View FIGURES 9–15 ). Subgenital plate about 2 times as long as wide at basal, with 10 long setae and shorter setae along lateral margin, apex extremely narrow ( Fig. 10 View FIGURES 9–15 ). Aedeagal shaft C-shaped in lateral view; preatrium of aedeagus with a pair of linear processes arising ventrally near base and nearly 1/3 as long as aedeagal shaft, crossing each other at midlength; aedeagus with short preatrium attached to complex dorsal connective, dorsal connective with setae; aedeagal shaft with a lamellar process on right apical, gonopore apical ( Figs. 11–13 View FIGURES 9–15 ). Connective Y-shaped, stem slightly longer than arms ( Fig. 14 View FIGURES 9–15 ). Style broad at base, abruptly narrowing subapically, preapical lobe with fine setae ( Fig. 15 View FIGURES 9–15 ).
Female genitalia. Female seventh sternite slightly wider than long, with posterior margin concave ( Fig. 16 View FIGURES 16–21 ). Ovipositor elongate, extended well beyond pygofer; first valvulae narrow, gradually tapered to acute apex, dorsal sculpture granulose; second valvulae without dorsal teeth, parallel-margined through most of length, apex rounded. Measurements. Length (including tegmen): ♂, 6.1–6.9 mm; ♀, 6.4–7.3 mm.
Host. Grasses.
Type material. Holotype: ♂, CHINA: Guizhou Prov., Weining County, Meihua , 3 August 2017, coll. Hongxing Li ( GUGC); paratypes: 23♂♂ 14♀♀, same data as holotype ( GUGC).
Etymology. The new species name combines the Latin prefix “ bi- ” (two) with “ processus ”, referring to the base of aedeagus with a pair of dorsal linear processes.
