Type:— UCMP 1053 (University of California Museum of Paleontology, Berkeley, USA).

Geography:—Redding Creek, Hay Fork, Trinity Co., California, USA.

Stratigraphy:—Oligocene.

Status:—Leaves.

Note:—The fossil-species is compared with extant Frangula crenata ( Siebold & Zuccarini 1845: 146) Miquel (1867: 32) .
