Type material. Holotype ♀, India: South India Collection details incomplete. Coll. F. Smith. ( NHM) B. M. TYPE HYM. 3a. 41 ( NHMUK013458835 About NHMUK ).
Diagnosis. Body length 12.0 mm, ovipositor sheath length 10.0 mm. Frons granulate rugose; vertex with three carinae; pronotum strongly trans-striate; mesoscutum coarsely punctate, apically smooth; first metasomal tergite trans-striate, as long as combined remaining segments; latter segments alutaceous; ovipositor sheath longer than metasoma, with an ill-defined subapical pale yellowish ring.

Distribution. Oriental: India (South India).
