Ficus bullenei Johnston (1949: 113) View in CoL
Lectotype (designated here):— PANAMA. San José Island , near Main Camp, 5 November 1944, I. M. Johnston 389 (lectotype: GH 00034464 !, isolectotype: BM!, MO!, P!, U!, US!).
Nomenclatural notes:— In the protologue is not stated the name of the herbarium where the type of F. bullenei was deposited. Therefore, we designate the specimen Johnston 389 (GH 34464) as a lectotype because it contains more leaves and syconia.
Taxonomical notes:— Burger (1977) and Berg & Simonis (2000) considered F. bullenei as an accepted name but synonimized as Ficus matiziana by Berg (2009).
