( Figs 3, 4 View Figures 1–8 , 20 View Figures 19–22 , 32 View Figures 31–34 )

Type material. Holotype ( Figs 3 View Figures 1–8 , 20 View Figures 19–22 ): male, “N-Vietnam [border of Lai Châu and Lào Cai Provinces] 1600m | Mt. Fan-si-pan(Nord) | Cha-pa, Primärurwald [primary jungle] | 22.17'' N 103.44 ''E [22°17'N 103°44'E] | 20.–30.IV.1995 | leg. V. Sinjaev [Sinyaev] & | Einheim. Sammler [local collector] | Museum Witt” / ‘Slide | ZSM Arct. | 2019-1090 ♂ | A. Volynkin ” ( MWM / ZSM). GoogleMaps

Paratypes. VIETNAM: 1 male, 2 females, the same data as in the holotype, gen. prep. No.: 2019- 1117 ♀ ( MWM / ZSM) .

Diagnosis. The forewing length is 14.0 mm in males and 16.0 mm in females. Fangeilema amoena sp. n. is externally reminiscent of K. klapperichi but distinguished by the slightly larger size, and the broader forewing with a thinner yellow costal stripe. Compared to the related F. lucida , the new species has a slightly broader forewing with a grey ground colour, which is shiny bluish-white in male and silky creamy white in female of F. lucida . The male genital capsule of F. amoena sp. n. is clearly different from F. lucida by the shorter uncus and vinculum, the longer and more heavily sclerotised juxta with triangular apical lobes directed laterally and evenly covered with spines (whereas they are rounded and bear compact apical clusters of more robust spines in F. lucida ), the narrower valva with a narrower and more apically tapered dorsal section, and the shorter and clavate distal saccular process, which is strongly elongate and reaching the dorsal margin of the valva in the congener. The phallus of the new species is more distally dilated than in F. lucida and has a more swollen carinal process lacking the central thorn typical of F. lucida . The vesica of F. amoena sp. n., unlike F. lucida , has a shorter main chamber with a large and distally conical dorsal diverticulum, and a broader ventral diverticulum. In the female genitalia, F. amoena sp. n. differs from F. lucida in the markedly longer apophyses anteriores, the broader postvaginal plate subdivided into two lobes (it is shortly trapezoidal in the congener), the shorter and somewhat broader ductus bursae the narrower posterior section of the corpus bursae, the markedly shorter and narrower corpus bursae lacking the signa, and the distally broader appendix bursae situated laterally whereas it is situated ventrally in F. lucida . Additionally, the 7 th abdominal sternite of the new species has elongate lateral pockets which are absent in F. lucida .

Distribution. Northern Vietnam (border of Lai Châu and Lào Cai Provinces).

Etymology. The specific epithet is derived from the Latin adjective ‘amoenus’ meaning ‘pleasant’ and refers to the pleasure of the discovery of the new species, which was initially identified as a member of the genus Gandhara Moore, 1878 .

Subgenus Danieloma subgen. n.

https://zoobank.org/ urn:lsid:zoobank.org:act:911F2AD4-EFC9-4DC3-9CA2-5BF457C113ED

Type species: Fangeilema (Danieloma) confusa sp. n., by present designation.

Diagnosis. In the male genitalia ( Figs 21, 22 View Figures 19–22 ), the new subgenus differs from Fangeilema gen. n. s. str. ( Figs 19, 20 View Figures 19–22 ) in the juxta lacking the apical lobes, the longer vinculum, the costa bearing a medial spike-like process, the robust thorn-shaped distal carinal process laterally edging the main chamber of the vesica and protruding distally-laterally (whereas the carinal process of the nominate subgenus is short, swollen and protruding dorsally), and the broader, globular main chamber of the vesica. The female genitalia of the new subgenus ( Fig. 33 View Figures 31–34 ) differ from Fangeilema gen. n. s. str. ( Figs 31, 32 View Figures 31–34 ) in the shorter ductus bursae, the irregularly dilated and sclerotised posterior section of the corpus bursae, and the weakly rugose anterior section of the corpus bursae.

Etymology. The subgenus name is an aggregate of the surname Daniel and the genus-group name Dolgoma , of members of which the type species is reminiscent. The subgenus is named after Franz Daniel, an outstanding German lepidopterist, who processed Lithosiini materials collected by Hermann Höne in China and Japan. Gender is feminine.
