Evinus tenuis View in CoL sp. nov. (Figs 9A–O)
Description. Length (including forewing). Male: 2.3–2.4 mm; female: 2.4 mm.
Color as in E. angulatus but frontoclypeus brownish with several pairs of dark brown markings; lorum and anteclypeus bordered with black; mesonotum with small anteromedial area and pair of posteromedial spots brown without markings posterad of scutellar suture.
Anteclypeus distinctly tapered from base to apex, ca. twice as long as basal width, apex convex.
Male abdomen. 2T apodeme with submedial lobes convergent, straight, extended beyond posterior margin of tergite, somewhat variable in length among individuals. 1S apodeme with submedial lobe relatively short and broad, less than 2.0 times longer than wide; lateral extension bifurcate, branches subequal in length, dorsal branch slender and lateral branch broad. 2S apodeme with submedial lobes curved mesad, ca. 2.0 times as long as basal width.
Male genitalia. Pygofer lobe relatively long and narrow, ventral margin concave, posterior margin rounded. Subgenital plate lateral lobe attenuate, extended well beyond dorsal margin of pygofer lobe. Connective Y-shaped, arms moderately divergent. Aedeagus with shaft evenly curved dorsad in lateral view; evenly tapered distally in posterior view; weakly constricted near base in ventral view.

Remarks. This species resembles E. obscurus in coloration but differs in having the anteclypeus tapered, male 1S apodeme lobes shorter and broader, the 2T apodeme lobes strongly convergent, the connective shorter with arms more strongly divergent, the aedeagus less expanded in ventral view. Intraspecific variation was observed among specimens from different localities ( China, Thailand) in the length of the 2T apodeme lobes, in addition to slight differences in the length of the aedeagus. Additional collecting is needed to further elucidate the extent of such variation.
Etymology. The specific epithet refers to the relatively slender and attenuate shaft of the aedeagus.
