Evinus sinuatus View in CoL sp. nov. (Figs 8A–P)

Description. Length (including forewing). Male: 2.8–3.1 mm.

Color as in E. hainanensis but with ventrolateral margin of frontoclypeus and margins of anteclypeus black. Mesonotum and scutellum without distinct markings except pair of small white spots laterad of scutellar suture.

Anteclypeus parallel-sided, more than twice as long as wide, apex truncate.

Male abdomen. 2T apodeme with submedial lobes divergent, reaching posterior margin; 1S apodeme with submedial lobes foot-like, ca. 2.5 times longer than wide, lateral extension tapered, not bifurcate, with preapical anterior lobe. 2S apodeme with submedial lobes curved mesad, ca. 2.0 times as long as basal width.

Male genitalia. Pygofer lateral lobe long and narrow, abruptly tapering caudally, ventral margin concave, posterior margin parabolic. Subgenital plate lateral lobe attenuate, extended beyond dorsal margin. Connective elongate, linear. Aedeagus in lateral view with ventral margin of atrium straight, shaft beyond atrium evenly curved dorsally; shaft convexly tapered in posterior view, strongly constricted near base in ventral view.

Holotype: male, Thailand, Phetchabum Thung Salaeng Luang NP Pine forest, Gang wang nam yen, 16º 35.789’ N, 100º 52.286’ E, 769m, Malaise trap, 22–28.xii.2006. Paratype: 1 male, same data as holotype.

Remarks. This species is similar to E. hainanensis and E. longus in coloration, but differs in having the anteclypeus longer and narrower, the 1S apodeme lobes more elongate, and the connective arms less divergent.

Etymology. The species epithet refers to the sinuate lateral margin of the base of the aedeagus.
