Evinus obscurus View in CoL sp. nov. (Figs 5A–O)

Description. Length (including forewing). Male: 3.0 mm.

Colour as in E. angulatus but with frontoclypeus light brownish no markings except apex of crown with eyebrow-shaped markings; mesonotum with anterolateral triangles, small anteromedial area, pair of posteromedial spots and three longitudinal bands posterad of scutellar suture dark brown; male genital capsule dark brown.

Anteclypeus parallel-sided, ca. twice as long as wide, apex convex; clypeal suture slightly arcuate without markings.

Male abdomen. 2T apodeme with posterior lobes parallel-sided, extended to middle of tergite in dorsal view; 1S apodeme with submedial lobes foot-like, ca. 2.0 times longer than wide dorsally; lateral extension bifurcate, branches subequal in length, dorsal branch narrow and lateral branch broad; 2S apodeme with submedial lobes moderately developed, curved mesad, nearly 1.5 times as long as basal width.

Male genitalia. Pygofer lateral lobe relatively short, ventral margin concave, abruptly tapering caudally, posterior margin rounded. Subgenital plate with lateral lobe triangular, extended beyond dorsal margin of pygofer lobe. Connective elongate, nearly linear. Aedeagus with shaft evenly curved dorsally in lateral view, convexly tapered basally with distal section parallel-sided in posterior view; weakly constricted near base in ventral view.

Holotype: male, China, Yunnan Prov., Yiwu County, 1307m, 21.v.2011, Coll. Lu Lin (NWAFU).

Remarks. This species is similar to E. angulatus in coloration and in the shape of the subgenital plate, but differs in having the aedeagal shaft convexly tapered basally with distal section parallel-sided in posterior view and not distinctly bent apically in lateral view.

Etymology. The species epithet refers to the dark brown male genitalia and genital capsule.
