Eutheria bipunctata ( Wagener, 1877) stat. restit.
Physonota bipunctata Wagener, 1877: 62 (original description).
Type locality. Argentina, Mendoza.
Type material examined. SYNTYPE: ( MMUE). [Examined but label data not recorded].
Remarks. SPAETH (1923) synonymized Physonota bipunctata with Chelymorpha longula Boheman, 1857 and transferred it to the genus Eutheria Spaeth, 1909 . I have studied the type of the latter taxon and found that it is conspecific with C. commutabilis , for more information see remarks under that species. Due of the new synonymy I hereby restore species status of E. bipunctata .
Distribution. Argentina: Mendoza ( WAGENER 1877).
