10. Eurya szechuanensis Hung T. Chang (1954: 43) View in CoL .
Type:— CHINA. Sichuan:Emei Shan, near Shouxingqiao, 11 Nov.1946, Wen-Guang Hu 8757 (lectotype IBSC-0003699!, here designated). Remaining syntypes:— CHINA. Sichuan: Emei Shan, 1952, Ji-Hua Xiong, Xiu-Shi Zhang & Xing-Lin Jiang 31706 (IBK-00190543!, IBSC-0003698!).
Two gatherings, Ji-Hua Xiong, Xiu-Shi Zhang & Xing-Lin Jiang 31706 and Wen-Guang Hu 8757, were designated as male and female “type” in Chinese, respectively, in the protologue ( Chang 1954). The sheet IBK-00190543 has a “ syntype ” symbol. The one we designate as the lectotype has a paper bag with some flower parts dissected presumably by the original author. This species was originally described from Sichuan. It was treated as a synonym of Eurya oblonga Y.C. Yang (1941: 133) var. oblonga by Ming & Bartholomew (2007). Following IPNI, the correct standard form abbreviation for Yen Chin Yang should be Yen C.Yang instead of Y. C.Yang, which denominates a different author (Yung Chang Yang).
