9. Eurya semiserrulata Hung T. Chang (1954: 29) View in CoL .
Type:— CHINA. Guangxi: Ziyuan, Xunyuan Xiang , from Leigongtian to Maoer Shan , in forest, about 2000 m, tree, 28 July 1937, Ji-Xin Zhong 83455 (lectotype IBK-00190542!, here designated; isolectotype IBSC herb. #106429!). Remaining syntype:— CHINA. Guangxi: Rongxian, Chang’an Qu, Yuanbao Shan, in forest, 1700 m, tree, 16 Nov. 1938, Xian-Zhang He 82521 (IBSC-0003690!) .
Two gatherings, Ji-Xin Zhong 83455 and Xian-Zhang He 82521, were designated as male and female “type” in Chinese, respectively, in the protologue ( Chang 1954). From each gathering, we located one sheet. The one we designate as the lectotype has a paper bag with a flower dissected presumably by the original author. This species was originally described from Guangxi and it occurs in NE Guangxi, Guizhou, S Hunan, W Jiangxi, SE and SW Sichuan, NE Yunnan ( Ming & Bartholomew 2007).
