ISRAEL: 1♀ (holotype), Palestine (Bat Yam), 9.vi.1919, leg. Bytinski-Salz, UCRC_ENT 334451 (NMPC); 1♂ (allotype), Palestine, 6.ix.1948, leg. Bytinski-Salz, UCRC_ENT 334453 (NMPC).
Distribution. Israel (Bouček 1956), Egypt (new record).
Hosts. Collected very close to the nest of Cataglyphis bicolor (Fabricius) ( Formicidae : Formicinae ) around the roots of the field binweed, Convolvulus arvensis L. ( Convolvulaceae ). We suspect this to be the host because Eucharis (Eucharisca) bedeli Cameron was reared from C. bicolor (Bedel 1895) .
