Eremiothrips unicolor Rasool, Abdel-Dayem, Alattal & Aldhafer, 2021a: 1611 .
The species was described from Al Baha province of Saudi Arabia from leaves of Commiphora sp. The species is unique in having a remarkably long mouth cone reaching to the posterior margin of the pronotum, and the unicolorous pale body without any trace of color. The male of this species can be distinguished by the small oval pore plates on sternites III–VII and long pair of drepenae on tergite IX.
Material studied. Al Baha, Baljurashi , 22 females, six males, 4 larvae from Commiphora sp. , 22.ix.2020; Qilwa, 19 females, two males, seven larvae, 25.ix.2020, Rasool, I .
