Record as epibiont on cnidarians: Under homonymic name E. coronata Kent, 1881 the species was registered at campanularian hydroid from Atlantic coast of USA near Woods Hole ( Calkins 1902). The species also found at the British Columbia coast ( Canada) as epibiont on hydroids ( Wailes 1943; Mccazuley & Hancock 1971).
Record as epibiont on other hosts: The species was described as epibiont on parasitic copepod Caligus rapax Milne Edwards, 1840 from coast of Saint Andrew’s Bay, Florida, USA ( Holt 1891). Under homonymic name E. coronata Kent, 1881 , the species was registered attached to “zoophytes” and tunicates Polyzoa from coasts of the Guernsey and Jersey Islands, GB ( Kent 1881). It was found in the British Columbia coast ( Canada) on algae ( Wailes 1943; Mccazuley & Hancock 1971).
