Distribution in mainland China: Unspecified locality in mainland China (Borowski 2007).
Other distribution. Eastern Siberia, Japan. ( Borowski and Węgrzynowicz 2012)
Biology. Members of the subfamily have a very distinctive host amongst bostrichoids, hard polypore fungi ( Phellinus , Polyporus ) growing on the dead logs of birch, oak ( Betula , Quercus ), and other hardwood trees ( Liu & Schönitzer 2011).
