Comments. Šilhavý (1968) was not correct in transferring lindbergi from Euphalangium to Egaenus . The structure of the penis in this species clearly shows its affinity to the genus Euphalangium (now Homolophus , synonomized by Cokendolpher 1987). Additionally, femur IV of the male of E. oedipus has rows of strong denticles ventrally ( Figs 3A–D View FIGURES 3 ), whereas that of H. lindbergi lacks them. Additional morphological features of this species can be seen in Figs 3A–M View FIGURES 3 .
