COMMON NAME (S): Tortrix moth or leafroller moth.
SYNONYM(S): Argyroploce trixiphias Meyrick, 1939 ; Eccopsis undosa Diakonoff, 1981 .

DISTRIBUTION: Angola, Democratic Republic of Congo, Gabon, Ghana, Gambia, Ghana, Kenya, Madagascar, Malawi, Mauritius,
Namibia , Nigeria, Réunion, Sao Tome & Principe, Seychelles, Sierra Leone, South Africa, Tanzania, Zambia, Zimbabwe.
LOCALITY IN ZAMBIA: Mumbwa, in Central Province.
LARVAL HOSTPLANT(S): Host plants include two Fabaceae species ( Aeschynomene telekii Schweinf. and Piptadeniastrum africanum (Hook.f.) Brenan ) in the Democratic Republic of Congo and one Fabaceae species ( Acacia tortilis (Forssk.) Hayne ) in Kenya . Four Fabaceae species ( Acacia tortilis (Forssk.) Hayne , Aeschynomene telekii Schweinf. , Dichrostachys cinerea (L.) Wight & Arn. and Piptadeniastrum africanum (Hook.f.) Brenan and one Poaceae species ( Sorghum bicolor (L.) Moench) are listed as larval foodplants of the taxon by the African Moths (2019) webpage without specifying in which of the countries listed above they are found. No host plants of the taxon have yet been recorded in Zambia.
