Description. ♀. Fully winged; body length 4.2–6.0 mm. Head black, except mandible and clypeus testaceous; oc- casionally also malar space testaceous; antenna testaceous, except antennomeres 5–9 or 6–9 darkened; propleuron black; pronotum totally black, except posterior collar and lateral regions testaceous; rest of mesosoma black; metasoma partly black and partly testaceous; legs testaceous, occasionally except meso- and metatibia darkened and procoxa partly black. Antenna clavate; antennomeres of holotype in following proportions: 13:6:29:13:11:10:7:6:6:8; in specimen from Botswana, Farmer’s Brigade, antennomeres in following proportions: 10:4.5:19:8.5:7:6:5.5:5:4.5:7. Head dull, granulate and with some irregular keels on frons; occasionally head completely reticulate rugose; occipital carina complete; occiput concave; temple prominent; frontal line complete; holotype with POL = 6; OL = 4; OOL = 11; OPL = 1; TL = 6; in specimen from Botswana, Farmer’s Brigade, POL = 4.5; OL = 2.5; OOL = 7; OPL = 0.5; TL = 3; in specimen from Cameroon, Messabengondo, POL = 4; OL = 2. Pronotum shiny, crossed by slight anterior transverse impression and strong posterior transverse furrow; anterior collar and lateral regions of pronotum unsculptured or with longitudinal striae; disc slightly or strongly granulate, sculptured by some striae; posterior collar very short. Mesoscutum dull, reticulate rugose, anteriorly smooth. Notauli incomplete, reaching approximately 0.5–0.6 × length of mesoscutum. Mesoscutellum dull, granulate. Metanotum rugose. Metapectal-propodeal disc dull, reticulate rugose, about as long as propodeal declivity; propodeal declivity reticulate rugose. Forewing with three dark transverse bands; distal part of 2r-rs&Rs vein longer than proximal part (12.6:6). Protarsomeres of holotype in following proportions: 20:5:9:24:37; Protarsomeres of specimens from Botswana, Farmer’s Brigade, in following proportions: 14:3:6:12:21. Enlarged claw ( Fig. 132C View FIGURE 132 ) with one large subdistal tooth and one row of 7–15 lamellae. Protarsomere 5 ( Fig. 132C View FIGURE 132 ) with two rows of about 24–28 lamellae; apex with at least 15 lamellae. Tibial spurs 1/1/2 (in holotype), or 1/1/1 (in other specimens).
