Butler, 1892: 327 ( Melipotis Yerburyi ). Type locality: “Aden”.

Type material: Holotype male (by monotypy), “Aden” ( BMNH)..

= albofasciata John, 1921: 47 ( Leucanitis albofasciata ). Type locality: “South-eastern Persia, Mekran: Riku near Bahu; Lekubal, Kutshé; Kaptegin-dukan, Beludchistan” (by original description).

Type material: Lectotype female (designated here in accordance with ICZN Art. 74) ( Figs. 199–201 View FIGURES 187–207 ), labelled “м. Рику, стр. Багу | Макран; ювПерсiЯ | Зарудный. 28 II 01 ” <Riku Bagu Makran SE Persia > ( ZISP) . Paralectotype: 1 female ( ZISP) .

Habitat. Unknown.

Distribution. Little known species. Only known from its type locality and from Pakistan.
