Like subsp. (a) but stems 30-80 cm; leaflets of upper leaves 10-20 x 2-4 mm; heads 12- to 20-flowered; pedicels usually longer than calyx-tube; calyx-teeth about equalling tube; corolla 3-5 mm. Mediterranean coasts o f France and Spain.
