Diagnosis. The species is characterized by a dark pleura, the gonostylus with 4-5 slightly curved thin subapical megasetae and a non-setose intercoxal area of the hypopygium.
Distribution. China (Zhejiang – new record; Fig. 11 View FIGURE 11 ), Finland, Russian Far East, Nepal (Tuomikoski, 1960; Antonova, 1977; Mohrig & Menzel, 1994; Heller, Vilkamaa & Hippa, 2009).
Remarks. This species was first recorded from Finland (Tuomikoski, 1960), and is new to China. The Chinese specimens examined show some slight differences from the type specimen that Y with 0–5 setae and y/x: 1.49– 2.25 in the Chinese specimens, while Y bare and y/x: 1.5 in the holotype.
