27. Dohrniphora triangula sp. nov.

Male: Head. Frons black, sub-shining, with fine, sparse setulae. First row of bristles straight, antials 2 times as far apart as either is to an antero-lateral. Second row of bristles slightly concave, all four bristles being equidistant. Postpedicels rounded-oval, yellowish brown. Palp of normal size, yellowish brown, with 5 sub- and apical bristles and 20–30 hairs on ventral face. Thorax. Scutum yellowish brown. Scutellum yellowish brown, with 2 bristles and 2 hairs. Wing length 2.10mm. Costal index 0.56; costal ratios 7.33:3.67:1; costal cilia 0.07–0.08 mm. Veins brown and membrane pale. Halter yellowish brown. Legs yellow. Fore tibia with 2 long and 3 short dorsal bristles. Mid tibia with a pair of isolated bristles. Dorsal hair palisade of mid tibia extends 3/4 of its length. Hind tibia without isolated bristles before apex, with a row of 6–8 strong antero-dorsal bristles, Postero-dorsals are drawn out into long fine spines. Posterior face of hind femur with a group of about 25–27 strong, peg-like bristles, which form roughly a triangle. Microtrichia patch restricted in a small area above the group of the bristles. Abdomen. Abdominal tergites mainly brown. Tergites II and VI yellow at anterior half. Tergites III–V yellow at anterior small parts. Venter of abdomen brown, with sparse bristles. Male terminalia dark brown, except cercus yellowish brown; apical bristles of cercus not enlarged. Body length 2.9 mm.

Holotype. ♂, Yunnan, Dehong, Husa (24°21' N, 97°50'E, 1000–1400m), 6-VIII-2009, Jianfeng Wang.

Etymology. The specific epithet refers to the arrangement pattern of the peg-like bristles on posterior face of the hind femur.

Remark. The species is similar to D. beaveri Disney , but it is different from latter, in having a fewer and a triangular patch of peg-like bristles, microtrichia patch located above the group of peg-like bristles and chaetotaxy of frons is different.
