Male

Frons brown, a little broader than high, with dense but extremely reduced microsetae and 5862 hairs. A pair of strong supraantennal bristles, antials at least twice as far apart than distance from an anterolateral and all four bristles almost level. Preocellars a little further apart than either is from a mediolateral bristle and slightly higher on frons than MLs. Postpedicels subglobose and yellowish brown. Second segment of straw yellow palp almost egg shaped, being only about 1.75x as long as greatest breadth, with five apical bristles and at least a dozen hairs running back to base on inner ventral face. The pale brownish yellow labrum only about half as wide as postpedicel and labella even paler. Thorax brown. Scutellum with a posterior pair of bristles and an anterior pair of hairs that are shorter than those at rear of scutum. Abdominal tergites entirely brown with sparse minute hairs that are scarcely longer at rear margins of T5 and T6. Venter light brown, with a few small hairs below on segments 35 plus a pair of widely separated strong bristles at rear of 5. Hypopygium brown with straw yellow anal tube tinged brown at base. Legs yellow lightly tinged brown, but darker along dorsal edge of hind femur. Front tibia with four dorsal spines. Mid tibia, apart from basal pair of bristles, with a preapical bristle, two smaller bristles above this, and its dorsal hair palisade extending almost two thirds of length. Hind tibia lacks isolated bristles above apex. Base of hind femur as Fig. 17 View FIGURES 16 17 . Hind coxal lobe similar to Fig. 5 View FIGURES 5 6 . Wings 1.6 mm long. Costal index 0.47. Costal ratios 7.4: 1.8: 1. Costal cilia 0.06 mm long. Hair at base of vein 3 subequal to costal cilia on basal half of costal section 2. All veins greyish yellow, except vein 7 only discernible with critical lighting. Membrane almost colorless. Haltere whitish yellow.
