Remarks. The holotype (NHMUK) and an image of a paratype (NHMW) were examined. The species is transferred to Diuncus Hulcr & Cognato, 2009 because of the following characteristics: antennal club obliquely truncate with segment 1 encircling anterior face (type 1); pronotum with six serrations on anterior margin; declivity flat, broad, margins broadened and distinctly carinate; declivital base with two pairs of denticles; protibiae obliquely triangular, with 3−5 large denticles, denticles distinctly longer than wide; scutellum visible and flush with the elytra; and mycangial tufts absent.
Distribution. West Malaysia.
