Holotype male in MNHN.
Type locality: Sierra de Durango, Durango State, Mexico.
Distribution: Mexico: Durango, Guerrero, Hidalgo, Jalisco, México, Michoacán, Morelos, Nuevo León, Oaxaca, Puebla, Querétaro, Sinaloa, and Veracruz States. Biology: In caves and forests.
Note 1: The records in Peck, 1973b: 105 ( Mexico: Nuevo León, San Luis Potosí, and Tamaulipas) are a misidentification of D. sinuosus Peck & Cook [2016] ( Peck & Cook, 2016: 86) .
Note 2: The record in Peck, 1977: 186 ( Mexico: Nuevo León State) is a doubtful record based on one female ( Peck & Cook, 2016: 86).
