Diplazium tabalosense Hieron., Hedwigia View in CoL 47: 214, pl. 1. 1908.

Range: —Southeastern Venezuela; Peru and Bolivia (BE, CO, LP, SC).

Ecology: —Rare, known from only four Bolivian collections; Kessler et al. 11257 (UC) from LP is probably a sterile plant of this species; terrestrial in humid forests, often along streams; to 200–1300(–2000?) m.

Notes: —A poorly known species, needing further study.
