Specimens in collections: CNHE (1314 in part).

Notes: The material from Lago de Pátzcuaro was identified as Dendrouterina botauri (= D. fuhrmanni ) by Ramos-Ramos (1994), and re-identified by Scholz et al. (2002) as D. herodiae .
