Dasymaschalon argenteum (Griff.) Jongsook & Chaowasku , comb. nov. ( Fig. 2C )

Basionym:— Pelticalyx argentea Griffith (1854: 706) .

The phylogenetic results reveal the position of Dasymaschalon sp. from Narathiwat Province, southern Thailand (= Dasymaschalon sp. TH; Fig. 1 ) as the sister group of the true D. dasymaschalum . Dasymaschalon sp. TH ( Fig. 2A ) morphologically differs from D. dasymaschalum in several respects as shown in Table 1 and hence deserves recognition as a new species, which is described below.
