Distribution. Sarawak ( Clarke, 1883; Burtt, 1978).

Notes. Additional specimens and sclereid information were recorded in Burtt (1978), as well as the morphological affinities of this species under the entry for Cyrtandra incrustata B.L.Burtt ( Burtt, 1978).

Distribution. Sarawak ( Burtt, 1990b; Hilliard & Burtt, 2005a).

Notes. An updated description of this species was provided in Hilliard & Burtt (2005a). A number of morphologically similar specimens mentioned in the discussion following the original description of Cyrtandra diplotricha (Burtt, 1990) were transferred to other species in Hilliard & Burtt (2005a), namely C. fuscovenosa Hilliard & B.L.Burtt , C. paravelutina Hilliard & B.L.Burtt and C. ramunculosa Hilliard & B.L.Burtt.
