Type material. Holotype (male): „ Teapa, Tabasco, March, H. H. S.” \ „ Type “ [red circle], ( BMNH).

Additional material. Mexico, Tamps [Tamaulipas], 300 m, Gomez Farías, 6.vi.- 7.viii.1983, S. & J. Peck lgt. \ flight intercept trap, 1 male, ( JHAC) .

Remarks. According the characters mentioned by Beal (1975, 1985) the species belongs to the C. triste species group.

Distribution. Species is desribed from Mexico: Tabasco, new for Tamaulipas.
