Previous records. According to the map by Zalesskaja & Schileyko (1992: Fig. 5 View Figures 5–9 ), C. caucasius occurs in the Dagestan, but this is not indicated in the text.
Distribution. A Caucasian species, also known from the Crimea; a sole specimen is known from Turkmenistan ( Zalesskaja & Schileyko 1991, 1992; Zuev 2016). Russia: Krasnodar Territory ( Verhoeff 1934), Rostov-on-Don Region ( Zuev & Evsyukov 2016), Stavropol Territory (Zuev 2016), Dagestan, and Crimea ( Zalesskaja & Schileyko 1991, 1992).
