Diagnosis: Males of P. billeni are characterized by the very short and globular palp with simple appendages; the RTA is small, curved, and slightly indented at the tip. Females are recognized by the epigyne with a circular depression in the oval posterior lip of the epigyne.

Etymology: The species name is a patronym in honour of Johan Billen, a renowned ant specialist.
