Males SVL = 35.7–37.7 mm, females SVL = 52.5–60.7 mm ( Ospina-Sarria et al. 2015). A medium-sized frog, differentiates itself by having an inner thigh coloration reddish brown. Prominent tympanic annulus; supratym- panic fold black and well defined; finger I longer than II. A total of 76 individuals were found, most of them were observed on the leaf litter between 250 and 870 m (Stations 3, 4 and 5). Craugastor metriosistus View in CoL is known from the upper and middle portions of the Magdalena Valley ( Frost 2019).
