Holotype male seen ( Figs 33–36 View FIGURES 21 – 40 ); in good condition.
Diagnosis. General colour brown with grey pollinosity; scutum with three broad brown vittae; legs brown, coxae grey pollinose; arista long-haired on basal two-thirds and short-haired on apical third; palpus brown; ocellar seta very short; scutellum with four pairs of setae, the basal one about half length of the apical one; anterior katepisternal about one-third of the length of the long posterior one; both calypters very short, lower one almost of the same length as upper one; hind tibia with one anterior, one anterodorsal and one posterodorsal setae, the posterodorsal one basad of the anterodorsal; sternite 5 as in Fig. 110 View FIGURES 101 – 112 .

Notes. This species belong to the vittata group. One paratype male was dissected and illustrated.
