74. Cnidoscolus rostratus Lundell, Bull. Torrey Bot. View in CoL Club 72: 328 (1945).— Cnidoscolus rostratus subsp. rostratus Type:— MEXICO. Oaxaca: N of Huajuapan (de León), 26 July 1943, C.L. Lundell 12304 (holotype LL-00371623!; isotypes K-000254131!, LL-00256916!, MICH-1115868!, NY-00246397 !, PH-00006384!, S!, US-00096489 !).

Distribution:— Mexico.

Notes:— Breckon (1979) lists Jatropha tubulosa var. quinqueloba as a synonym of Cnidoscolus rostratus , with the type being Andrieux 111. However, this variety is in fact a synonym of Cnidoscolus tubulosus and was lectotypified by Breckon in the same publication using Jurgensen 599.
