Diagnosis. Recognized by its small size; generally fuscous coloration ( Fig. 1 View FIGURE 1 D); wide vertex; almost entirely fuscous, comparatively broad antenna; weakly shining pronotum; and nearly matte hemelytron with a confluent, grayish white stripe across anterior corner of corium and median clavus. Distinguished from its closest relatives, C. miyamotoi Yasunaga and the preceding new species, by the wide vertex that is wider than an eye in dorsal view, and generally broader, fuscous antenna.

Pronotum weakly shining; pleura fuscous, partly tinged with red; ostiolar peritreme pale at ventral half, with a small, median knob-like projection (cf., Fig. 1 View FIGURE 1 G −H). Hemelytron partly silvery matte, with a nearly confluent, grayish white band across anterior corner of corium and median clavus (cf., Fig. 1 View FIGURE 1 D); membrane smoky brown. Coxa yellowish brown; entire procoxa and base of mesocoxa dark brown. Leg almost entirely dark brown; extreme base of each femur whitish. Male genitalia as in Fig. 2 View FIGURE 2 ; pygophore with a median spine ventrally ( Fig. 3 View FIGURE 3 ); endosoma spinulate apically; secondary gonopore developed. Female: Unknown.
Measurements. Total body length 2.67; length from apex of clypeus to cuneal fracture 1.89; width of head across eyes 0.65; vertex width 0.26; lengths of antennal segments I −IV 0.18, 0.74, 0.49, 0.38; labial length 1.05; mesal length of pronotum including collar 0.61; basal width of pronoutm 0.88; maximum width across hemelytron 0.89; and lengths of metafemur, tibia and tarsus 0.92, 1.23, 0.33.
Etymology. From Latin, similissimus , the superlative adjective of similis (= similar).
