Cheumatopsyche engor Oláh & Barnard , new species
Fig. 321–324
The species is similar to C. zao , new species, from Vietnam, but apices of the setaless mesocaudal lobe of segment X is less pointed in lateral and dorsal view; the dorsal margin of segment is sigmoid, not undulating; segment IX tergum is longer; coxopodites and harpagones slightly longer and nearly straight in ventral view; and the ventrovaudal spiny lobe is absent.
Male. Body and wings brown with brown pubescence; membrane without spots. Maxillary palp segment I shortest, segment II longer, segments III and IV equally long, segment V as long as sum of segments I–IV. Head dorsum brown with 7 lighter coloured warts. Proepisternum without swollen setal wart. Protarsal claws asymmetrical, laterally flanked by setal bundle. Forewing length 5.8 mm, hind wing length 3.9 mm. Hind wing fork I absent.
Male genitalia. Segment IX fused annularly; tergum nearly as long as sternum ( Fig. 321); ventrocaudal spiny lobe absent; anterior margin of segment IX shallowly convex ( Fig. 321); apical lobe on posterolateral margins broadly triangular, located at mid-height of segment, bordering wide articulation cavity of coxopodites. Spine row on posterior margins of segment IX complete; spines on dorsocaudal spiny lobe twice as long and stiffer than spines on apical lobe. Intersegmental step between segment IX and segment X shallow, formed by posteroventrad slope of segment X. Segment X long, subquadrangular, with concave dorsal margin at distal half ( Fig. 321). Blunt apex of setaless mesocaudal lobe oriented posterad ( Fig. 321); rounded triangular in dorsal view ( Fig. 322); fused with apicoventral setal lobes. Apicoventral setal lobes delineated by setae as setose bulges. Pair of lateral setose areas forming pair of elevated warts centrally on segment X ( Fig. 321, 322), well mesally of lateral margin of segment X ( Fig. 322). Dorsal and lateral interlobular gaps absent. Transverse sutures ventrally straight, before recurving posterad toward dorsal margin of segment X ( Fig. 321), dividing segment X into less sclerotised basal, and more strongly sclerotosed distal part. Longitudinal sutures present, running nearly parallel with ventral margin of segment X, meeting transverse sutures basally on segment X ( Fig. 321); forming continuation of apicoventral setal lobes. Coxopodites slender along their length, robust, rod-shaped, nearly straight in lateral view; slightly curving mesad in ventral view ( Fig. 323), strongly exceeding apex of segment X. Harpagones forming laterally flattened, broad, sharply triangular plates; apices curving dorsad ( Fig. 321); in ventral view nearly straight, except with slightly mesad curving apices ( Fig. 323). Phallotheca ( Fig. 324) narrowing before mid-length; broadening apically due to ventral keel; sclerotised endothecal process almost truncate at apex; phallotremal sclerites sicle-shaped; vestigial ventral endothecal membranous lobe not visible.

Paratype: same data as for the holotype — 1 male ( BMNH, in alcohol) .
Distribution: Malaysia (Perak).
Etymology: from the name of the type locality.
