Charops luctuosa ( Cresson, 1865) . Assigned by Townes and Townes (1966).
Holotype 3 (IES # 241) lacking wings and the metasoma. It has a small black and white cocoon attached to the pin. Both the insect and the cocoon are typical of the genus Charops . The species is distinctive in having the hind leg almost entirely reddish brown, with the coxa basally black.
