Pedicels when flowering 7–10 mm long, at fruiting 10–15 mm long.
Diagnostic Characters — Chamaecrista gordon-grayei subsp. gordon -grayei is recognised for its short pedicels (7–10 mm long).
Distribution and Ecology — Chamaecrista gordon-grayei subsp. gordon-grayei is known from northern regions of Namibia from Tarikora to Andara, extending beyond the region to Harare in Zimbabwe ( Fig. 11 View FIG ). Occurs in woodlands, on sandy soil at elevations below 1000 m. Flowering from January–February.
