Lower leaves broadly ovate; upper ovate-lanceolate, mucronate, spinulose-denticulate. Involucre 17-22 mm in diameter, subglobose; appendages with slender apical spines, the central spine not longer than the others. Rocky ground. S.E. Spain (near Jativd).
