Typus, female MLP N° 1664/1 . Argentina, Misiones (near Córpus). Date unknown, Berg leg.
Remarks. Specimen with left wings extended. This species was originally placed by Berg near Carineta fasciculata Germ. It holds six labels. The specimen labelled as “ typus ” by Berg, is considered here as holotype by monotypy (ICZN, art. 73.2.1).
