Vernacular Names: Black-headed Marmoset.
Distribution: Interfluvium of the Rios Marmelos and Madeira, north of the Ji-Paranã River ( Brazil).
Conservation: CITES – Appendix II; IUCN – Data Deficient as Mico nigriceps .
Discussion: Subgenus Mico .
