Vernacular Names: Rio Acari Marmoset.
Distribution: Presumed to be the entire interfluvium of the Rios Acari and Sucunduri ( Brazil).
Conservation: CITES – Appendix II; IUCN – Least Concern as Mico acariensis .
Discussion: Subgenus Mico .
