Type Locality: Brazil, Pará, Urucurituba, Rio Tapajós.

Vernacular Names: Hoffmanns's Titi.

Distribution: C Brazil, south of Amazon, between Rios Canuma and Tapajós-Jurena, south to the Rio Sucunduri.

Conservation: CITES – Appendix II; IUCN – Lower Risk (lc).

Discussion: Subgenus Callicebus . C. moloch species group. Groves (1992) suggested that this may be a subspecies of moloch , but see Groves (2001 c:170). Does not include baptista (see Groves, 2001 c:170, 173).
