Distribution. India: Tamil Nadu ( Kandasamy 1986, as Psylla alaspina ).
Host plant. Adults were collected on Toddalia asiatica (Rutaceae) , immatures are required to confirm this species as host.
Comments. Originally described in Psylla , this species is not congeneric with Psylla alni ( Linnaeus, 1758) , the type species of Psylla . For this reason, it is formally transferred here to Cacopsylla Ossiannilsson, 1970 as C. alaspina ( Kandasamy, 1986) , comb. nov. from Psylla .
