Butis abdoui n. sp.

Material examined

Twenty-one specimens: 7 males, 14 females, size range 32.3-88.4 mm SL, largest male 83.3 mm SL, largest female 88.4 mm SL.

Holotype: MNHN 2022-0219 , male (77 mm SL, tag 14623), Mayotte, Comoros, Ouroveni , 11 Nov. 2003, Keith & ARDA coll.

Paratypes: MNHN 2022-0216 , 1 male (60.5 mm SL, tag 14523), 3 females (54.7-63.4 mm SL, tags 14522, 14523, 14524, 14525), Mayotte, Comoros, Coconi, 6 Aug. 2019 , OCEA coll. MNHN 2005-0231 , 2 males (38.5-83.3 mm SL, tags 14622, 14626), 2 females (54.4-57 mm SL, tags 14624, 14625), same data as holotype .
